Title	Gift (indented) from John Cokke of Litleborn, Richard Stoke, Rector of the Church of Shathewel, and Richard Tofte, Vicar of the church of Newbold, to Thomas de Meryngton and Margery, his wife, and the heirs of their bodies, of all their lands, tenements, rents and services in Lityl Lalleford, Chirche Lalleford, Longe Lalleford, Litylherdeburgh, Newton, Newbold, Dunchirch and Toft, which they had by the gift and feoffment of the aforesaid Thomas in fee simple: to hold for 1 rose at the feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, and nevertheless performing the customary services on their behalf to the chief lords of those fees.

Description	Should Thomas and Margery die without legitimate heirs, the lands are to go to Geoffrey de Meryngton and Elizabeth, and the male heirs of their bodies, legitimately conceived, to be held as aforesaid. And if Geoffrey and Elizabeth die without male heirs, the lands, rents etc., are to revert to their possession forever. Witnesses: John Arderne, William Barbot, William Coke, John Rose, John Baste, and others. Given at Lityllalleford, 3rd January, 10 Henry IV.
