DescriptionTo hold to William, his heirs and assigns, as in that charter more fully appears: the intention of the feoffment was: if Thomas at Michaelmas 1454, paid William, his executors or assigns, at Lutterworth, Leics., 40 marks, Thomas would be re-enfeoffed with the above premises; if the money is not paid the charter remains valid, and Thomas and his heirs will have no claim to the estate. Concerning the profits of the said estate to be taken and levied to the payment of the aforesaid 40 marks, it is agreed that Thomas should take all the issues and profits of the lands in Brownesover, for his own use and sustenance, and in the same way, William is to take all the issues and profits of the lands in Palyngton, for his own use and sustenance, until the debt is paid.
