Title	Gift with warranty from Thomas Bocher, Wyrdrawer, of Sowe, son and heir of Alice wife of Henry Heywarde of Sowe, to William Mathewe of Sowe, carpenter, of a certain parcel of land called a bulke, and a ditch of water, lying in Sowe, between his land, on the south, and the land of the aforesaid William, on the north:
Date	1st May, 1435
Description	The parcel of land and ditch are 13½ feet wide and 67 feet long: to hold to himself, his heirs and assigns, freely etc., forever, of the chief lord of the fee, for the customary services. Witnesses: John Huchone, Thomas Cooke, John Clerk, Robert Pety, John Wylmer of Sowe and others. Given at Sowe, 1st May, 13 Henry VI Seal: round; device: twined initials enclosed by a plaited garland; worn; red; tag. Endorsed: charter of lands in Sowe.
