Title | Gift with warranty from Thomas, son of Richard Wauclin, to John de Pontefract, clerk, and his heirs, of a ½ acre of land and 1 rood, in the fields of Broniswavere with appurtenances, forever; which ½ acre extends towards the Brodweye, and lies between the land of Robert Hard, and the rood lies on the Heldi, and extends to the headland above Caldwelle. To hold to John and his heirs of himself and his heirs, rendering yearly a ½d. at Easter, for all secular services and exactions, `seyta' as is customary and for this gift John gave Thomas 1 silver mark. Witnesses: Richard de Rokeby, Thomas de Beseunt, Simon le Seriaunt of Broniswaver, Thomas Levenor of Great Herdeberwe, Richard le Depes, and others.
