Gift with warranty from William, son of Walkelin de Wavers to Simon Seriuent of Wavers of a half part of certain reeds in the fields of Waver on the water which is called Woverwatir, with the course of water which he had by the gift of Matilda le banaster, who was once lady of Wavere; the other part of those reeds belongs to a ½ virgate of land which Simon had by the gift of Lord Henry de Hastingis. To hold from William and his heirs to Simon, his heirs and assigns, to give leave and sell as freely as he wishes, with all appurtenances forever. Rendering yearly at Michaelmas 1 eel or ½d. for all secular services, exactions and demands. Witnesses: Lord Roger de Wavere, Thomas Truan, Thomas de land, Richard de Rokeby, Robert de Rokeby, Henry de Craswelle, Ralph lemfaunt, Bertram Lemes de Neuton, and others.
