DescriptionBy an indenture of 22nd December, 1698, Richard Chamber, citizen and girdler of London, Hannah, his wife, and John Chamber, their son, leased to Samuel Eborall of the same, mercer, a brick messuage: the Sign of the Mermaid in Milk Street in the parish of St. Mary Magdalene, Cripplegate, now in the occupation of Peter Barker and another, messuage built by Richard Brinley of London: the first house in Feather's Court, Milk Street, now also in the occupation of Barker, for 10 years. By an indenture of 19th April, 1703 Eborall assigns the lease to Barker, who now assigns it to Longbotham for the residue of the term.
