Title12 deeds relating to lands in Woodford, described in CR0162/436, bequeathed by James Cunningham to his son George, of Conduit Street, Hanover Square, Major in the Horse Guards, which were sold by the latter's executors to Rev. Robert Lambe to pay his debts.
Date1714-1773
DescriptionThere is a reference in the marriage settlement of James Cunningham, also to premises in the parish of St. Martin's in the Fields on the east and west side of Mangold Alley, near the Strand. Among the deeds are several papers, some of which bear little relation to this group; they deal chiefly with properties in the Woodford and Addington area, acquired by Robert Lambe from the Dawkes' and Curtis family, and from Samuel Whitby.
