DescriptionPleas at Westminster, in the court of Robert Brudenell, knight, and his fellow justices of the King's Bench, in Michaelmas term, 14 Henry VIII, Roll 417 for Northamptonshire: Robert Bardwell, John Bardwell and William Page by William Markaunt, their attorney seek against Edward Bardwell and Mary, his wife, a moiety of the aforesaid premises, as their right and inheritance; Edward and Mary had the premises from Theobald Green who unjustly dispossessed Robert, John and William; Edward and Mary came and defended their right and called to warranty Thomas Fyssche who was present in court. He imparled with Markaunt and did not then return to court; judgment went by default to Robert, John and William, at whose request this exemplification is made.
