| Description | Depositions in criminal cases tried at the Quarter Sessions commence Epiphany Sessions, 1824. Depositions are available for each Quarter Sessions unless otherwise stated. From 1930, all relative papers in each criminal case (i.e., Exhibits, Recognizances and letters) are filed with the Depositions.
Note: at Midsummer, 1961, the Deputy Clerk of the Peace authorised the destruction of correspondence and recognizances in this class after 20 years. |
