| Description | These rolls contain enrolments of deeds of bargain and sale under 27 Hen. VIII c.16 (1535) and a few wills and other documents, including some inclosure awards. The later enrolments of bargain and sale consist mainly of conveyances of land forming part of stopped up roads, conveyances of land to canal companies and also of former turnpike toll houses. |
