DescriptionPetition by Edward Bullock of the Inner Temple, London, esq., to Heneage, Earl of Nottingham, Lord High Chancellor of England, that Thomas Coles of Bishops Tachbrook and his tenant Thomas Ivens of Whitnash have unlawfully entered onto a parcel of land in Whitnash called Horsepool Close belonging to the said Edward Bullock and claimed it as part of the inheritance of Thomas Coles. Also that Thomas Coles has destroyed the boundary stones to the said close and carried away part of the wood from the close. Edward Bullock petitions the Chancellor to subpoena Thomas Coles and Thomas Ivens, ordering them to prove their claim to the land.
