DescriptionFor the final determination of all controversies according to an award made by Clement Throckmorton Knight and Roger Burgoyne Esquire on 26 March 1618, and in consideration of the cession of an annuity of £80 and of the arrears thereof to Henry Mathewe gentleman (son and heir apparent of George Mathewe of Moorecote Hall esquire), and also in consideration of a lease to be made from Henry to George of lands valued at £100 for life, George Mathewe released to Henry Mathewe the manor of Moorecote Hall during the former's lifetime. Henry was to deliver to George half the fish in the Great Mill Pool and there were further covenants as to timber, 3 Apr 16 Jas.1. [1618].
