The conveyance relates to Murcott Hall, the messuages, farms and lands in the tenure of William Hasterley in the manors of Barston, Berkswell and Balsall, those now or late in the tenure of Widow Wolfe ditto, ditto in the tenures of Thomas Woolf, William Greenway (sic), widow Showell, and Edward Hastings in Berkswell, and all and every the freehold estates etc. of Mathew in Berkswell and Barston now or late in the tenures of George Britain, John Chatway and Widow Chatway; two messuages in Birmingham near the old churchyard now or late of - Williams and - Hawkesford; messuage in Coventry now or late of widow Cator, capital messuage, farms and lands in Feckenham, and Inkberrow held by (now or lately) John Lane, - Harman, - James, Henry Harvey and Thomas Fairfax, and other lands in Hanbury and Feckenham (decs)., including the messuage at Baynall, and all other (unidentified) estates of John Mathew, with covenant of Mathew to surrender to his nieces all his copyhold property in the manors of Barston, Berkswell and Balsall now or late of George Britain and of John and widow Chatway, 20- 21 Jan 1740/1.
