| Description | The farm had been leased in 1857 by Sir J.E.E. Wilmot to Luke Permain. It was bought with the Berkswell Hall estate by Thomas Walker in 1860. The lease could be determined within 12 months on payment of compensation. Counsel advised on this and an award of compensation was made to Pearmain's executors, 1862. |
