TitleNotebook entitled 'MS notes G3 Genealogy' on the flyleaf, with a note of vols. G1-G5 [formerly in the Radway Gange library].
DescriptionOne of these vols is probably CR1264/1, numbered G and entitled 'Collectanea Genealogica'. The notebook is presumably a copy of the contents of vol G3. It consists mainly of extracts from the public records, the Harleian MSS and parish registers relating to the Millers and allied families. Amongst the rest is a copy of part of a letter from Mr Dowdall to Mr Southwell 10 Apr 1693, during a vist to Butlers Marston, which describes "a knott" of men, Charles Newsham of Chadshunt and others, who met at Kineton on Saturday afternoons.
At the end is a note that the tortoiseshell cabinet in the library [at Radway Grange] came from Mr Eddowes at Portsmouth. This now belongs to Mr Carey at the Cottage, Radway.
