1 - Feoffment, indented, from Richard Catisbye, esq., John Oldnale, Thomas Hunt, Robert Egeworthe and Roger Baker reciting that whereas James Slye, deceased, by his charter dated 29 Sept. 2[?4] Henry VIII [1532?] enfeoffed the said grantors of all his lands and tenements in Lapworthe, Rowyngton', Pynley and Shrewley to the use of the said James and his heirs to be declared in his will, and whereas according to the said will the said property in Pynley, Shrewley and Rowyngton was to pass to Richard Slye, his brother and his lawful issue, or in default of such issue to Robert Slye, his brother, the said grantors, at the request of the said Richard and Robert Slye, now granted to the said Richard Slye all the said property in Pynley, Shrewley and Rowyngton'. - [-]3 March 1533/1534
2 - Bargain and sale, with counterpart, from Richard Slye of Lapworth to John Mathewe alias Smythe of Pinley of lands and tenements (not described) in Pinley, Shrewley and Rowington belonging to the said Richard, excepting one butt of land lying next to the high cross in Rowington, between the land of John Rutter on the one hand and the highway on the other. - 31 July 1537
3 - Bargain and sale, indented, with warranty, from John Blyke of Pynnocke, Salop., gent., to John Smith of Pinley of a croft called Hokstyden' with appurtenances in Shrewley and 1½ acres of land containing 6 seliens with an adjacent meadow in Shrewley in a field called Cawdewellhyren, the said croft lying between the land of Thomas Lucy, esq., called le Grove on the one hand and land lately belonging to the Prioress of Pinley, now to the king, on the other, and the said 1½ acres with adjacent meadow lying between the land of the said John Smith on the one hand and the said land of Pinley, now belonging to the king, on the other, to hold the same for ever. - 20 Feb. 1539/1540
