1 - "The Surveye Booke of the devideinge of the Mannor of Brownsouer for the Lord therof Edward Boughton Esquier deuided in June Anno 1612 by Richard Bankes": this survey was made by Bankes on the [enclosure of the manor] and gives full details of the plots received by each tenant and the agreements made as to the highways, mounds, ditches and hedges. - 1612-1749
