1 - Appointment by John de Merynton of Guy de Merynton, his brother, as a proxy to take seisin of a messuage with curtilage, and 3 acres of land in Little Lalleford, according to a charter made between John and Ralph Chapeleyn and Amicia the latter's wife. - 1st Jan. 1339
2 - Lease (indented) with warranty from John de Merynton to Geoffrey Basely of Little Lalleford and Base, his wife, of a messuage and 6 acres of arable land in Little Lalleford, recently the messuage held by Ralph Ayttesene, of the Abbot of Combe. - 10th Dec. 1348
3 - Lease (indented) for life, in survivorship, with warranty, from John Meryngton of Little Lalleford to John Forgo of Long Lalleford and Matilda, his wife and William their son, of a messuage and a ½ virgate of arable land in Lallford, lying near the messuage held by John Baron: to hold to the aforesaid for all their lives, or the life of the longer liver of them, rendering yearly to John, his heirs and assigns 10s. of silver, by equal parts, at the usual terms, and a heriot on the decease of any of them. - 15th Sep 1359
4 - Gift (indented) with warranty from Thomas Meryngton, to John Gyffard, Rector of Chirchelalleford, and John Cokke of Lylleborne, Richard Tofte, Vicar of Newbold, Richard Stoke chaplain of Rokeby, William Pynke, Vicar of Clyfton, John Pynke and John Napton, of all his manors, rents and services in Warwic', to them, their heirs and assigns, to be held of the chief lord of the fee, for the customary services, as his feoffees, to the use of himself and his heirs. - 24th Aug. 1400
5 - Gift (indented) from John Cokke of Litleborn, Richard Stoke, Rector of the Church of Shathewel, and Richard Tofte, Vicar of the church of Newbold, to Thomas de Meryngton and Margery, his wife, and the heirs of their bodies, of all their lands, tenements, rents and services in Lityl Lalleford, Chirche Lalleford, Longe Lalleford, Litylherdeburgh, Newton, Newbold, Dunchirch and Toft, which they had by the gift and feoffment of the aforesaid Thomas in fee simple: to hold for 1 rose at the feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, and nevertheless performing the customary services on their behalf to the chief lords of those fees. - 3rd Jan. 1409
6 - Quitclaim by John Cok of Lilleburne, and Richard Stoke, parson of Shathewelle church, for themselves and their heirs forever to Geoffrey Allesley of Little Lalleford his heirs and assigns, of all their right and claim to the manor of Little Lalleforde and all appurtenances in the same village, Newbolde, Little Herdeburgh, Cherche Lalleforde and Toft in the county of Warewyck: which manor they had once with others by the gift of Thomas de Meryngton, excepting those lands held by Roger Zonge, Thomas Creek, William Cook, Robert Wych, Ralph Taylor, Thomas Callere, Richard Trussell and Alice his wife, in Longe Lalleforde and also excepting the lands held in Dunchurche by Thomas Luttelhay and Agnes, his wife. Given at Rokeby, on the feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 4 Henry IV. Witnesses: John de Catesby, Roger Elmsbregge, Robert de Catesby, Thomas Barone, John Derset of Thurlaston and others. 7 - Quitclaim by William Symondswold of Coventre and Katherine his wife, to Geoffrey Allesley of Little Lalleford, his heirs, and assigns forever, of all their right and claim to the manor of Little Lalleford and all other lands and tenements in Little Herdeburgh, Neubold on Avon, Long Lalleford, Chirch Lalleford, Dunchirch, and Toft, which once belonged to Thomas de Meryngton. - 12th Mar. 1417

9 - Left hand indenture of fine made in the court of the lord King at Westminster within three weeks of Michaelmas, in the 19th year of the reign of Henry VI in the court of Richard Neuton, James Strangways, William Paston, Thomas Fulthorp and William Ayscogh, justices, and others of the King's faithful. Between Thomas Thurston, clerk, Thomas Shukkeburgh, esq., and Robert Porter esq., querent, and Geoffrey Allesley and Alianor his wife, and Thomas Boughton and Elizabeth his wife, deforciant of the manor of Little Lalleford with appurtenances, 10 messuages, 10 virgates in Little Herdeburgh, Neubold on Avene and Long Lalleford, which the latter recognize to be the right of the former, who had it as their gift, and for this gift recognition and quitclaim, the former give the latter £100. - 1440
10 - Lease by Thomas Thurston, clerk, Thomas Shukburgh, esq., and Robert Porter, esq., to Geoffrey Allesley and Alianor, his wife, of their manor of Little Lalford with appurtenances, and all their other lands and holdings in Little Herdeburgh, Neubold on Avene, and Long Lalford, which they have by a fine. - 10th Aug. 1441
11 - Notarial Instrument: In a certain chapel belonging to the manor of Little Lalford, to me the Notary Public and testified by these writings, made by me, a certain William Busvile of Litilherdburgh in that county aged 60 years and more, swore he saw and heard when Geoffrey Allesley of Little Lalford was given the manor of Little Lalford with all appurtenances by Thomas Reyson then Rector of Herdbrugh church, and John Wyllunhale of Grendbrugh, by a charter sealed with their seals, in the 10th year of the reign of Henry V and witnessed the delivery of seisin. - 19th Apr. 1452
