2 - Gift and quitclaim by Simon le Sergaunt of Wavers to Richard his son, of all his best land, tofts, crofts, and all appurtenances within and without, which he had in fee of Henry de Hastinges and others, to hold to Richard, his heirs and assigns freely etc., rendering yearly to the chief lords of the fee, the services which Simon gave. - 13th century
3 - Writing obligatory: Alyanur, wife of Robert Houel, of certain needs has borrowed at London from Ubaldo Malengayle, citizen and merchant of Lucca, and Jacob Bettori, Aldebrando Malengayle, Colin Test, and others of their company, 100 marks in sterling, that is 13/4d. sterling for each mark, of which she declares them acquitted. - c.1271
4 - Writing obligatory: Adam, son of Gregory of St. Edmunds, at the command and assignment of the noble lord, Robert Houel and Alienor, his wife, promises to pay Thebald Malagales, Aldebrand Malagalee, Stephen Pitocelli, Colin Test, and their associates, citizens and merchants of Lucca, every year from the feast of Easter, 1276: 40 marks at the terms below written, from the farm of the manor of Brunyswar' in so far as the said merchants or their procurators of the 200 marks owed by Robert and Alienor his wife, require. - 26th Apr. 1275
5 - Grant and quitclaim by Theobald Malegaill and Colin Test, citizens and merchants of the company of Bettori and Sons, of Lucca, for themselves and their heirs, to William Revel of the county of Warwyk' of all the Manor of Bruneswaure with all its rights and appurtenances, to William his heirs and assigns, to be held freely etc., of the chief lord of the fee for the customary services forever and paying yearly to Alianor who was the wife of Robert Houel and her heirs, 1 penny at Easter, for all secular services and demands. And for this gift, concession and quitclaim, William has given them 400 marks. - 1290
6 - Writing obligatory (indented). Jacob Bettori and Hugelinus Petri, citizens and merchants of Lucca, of the company of Bettori and Sons of Lucca, are obliged to give William Revel full and peaceful seisin of the manor of Bruneswaure with all its appurtenances before the feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist 1291, without any contradiction or delay, as in the charter of Theobald Malegaill and Colin Test, of which the tenor is as follows: - 6th Dec. 1290

9 - Lease (indented) with warranty, by William Revel of Fenni neubaut, to Dame Alic Revel, his mother and Dame Agnes her daughter, his sister, of all his manor of Brouneswaure, with all appurtenances and also all his land with rents, escheats, wards etc., which he had in the town of Bouckby, Northants. - 25th June, 1294
10 - Gift with warranty from Thomas Paitenin with the consent of Amicia, his wife, to John de Pontefract and his heirs, of 2 roods of meadow in the fields of Bruneswaur; those 2 better ones of the roods which he has in Bradmedue for John's services, to hold of Thomas and his heirs forever, rendering yearly at Christmas to his heirs, a peppercorn for all secular services, exactions etc. - pre 1290
11 - Gift with warranty from Thomas, son of Richard Wauclin, to John de Pontefract, clerk, and his heirs, of a ½ acre of land and 1 rood, in the fields of Broniswavere with appurtenances, forever; which ½ acre extends towards the Brodweye, and lies between the land of Robert Hard, and the rood lies on the Heldi, and extends to the headland above Caldwelle. To hold to John and his heirs of himself and his heirs, rendering yearly a ½d. at Easter, for all secular services and exactions, `seyta' as is customary and for this gift John gave Thomas 1 silver mark. Witnesses: Richard de Rokeby, Thomas de Beseunt, Simon le Seriaunt of Broniswaver, Thomas Levenor of Great Herdeberwe, Richard le Depes, and others. 14 - Gift with warranty from Thomas de Esenhull to William Revel and his heirs of 6d. yearly rent taken at Bruneswavere, of Henry Peytenin for all the tenements which Henry holds of him in that place at the two terms of the year, at Easter, 3d. and at Michaelmas 3d. to have and to hold freely etc., forever, with the homage, wardship, marriage, heriot, escheat and all the rights. 30 - Quitclaim with warranty from Thomas Bellers, once of Brouneswaver, gentleman, to Richard Boughton, now in full possession, his heirs and assigns, of all his right and claim to the manor of Brouneswover with all its appurtenances. - 26th Feb. 1472
31 - Gift with warranty from Richard Boughton, esq., to William Catysby, knight, William Catysby the younger, esq., John Huggeford, William Harper esq., John Harper esq., Richard Harper, John Danton, William Dyxwell, Master John Wymark, William Stanerton, John Dyve the younger, and Thomas Ley, of his manor of Browneswover, with all appurtenances. To have and to hold to the aforesaid, their heirs and assigns forever, of the chief lord of the fee, for the customary services. He appoints as attorneys John Norton and Henry Bene, to deliver seisin on his behalf. Given at Bruneswover 1st May, 15 Edward IV. 33 - Lease by William Harpur, esq., John Harpur, esq., and William Dixwell, to Agnes Boughton, widow of Richard Boughton, esq., of their manor of Brouneswover with all appurtenances which they had together with William Catesby, knight, John Hugeford, John Denton, John Wymark, clerk, William Stanerton, John Dyve the younger, and Thomas Ley, now dead, by the gift of Richard Boughton, as may be seen more fully in a certain charter of feoffment made to them. - 6th Jan., 1498
34 - Creation of a Use between Sir Thomas Englefield, a justice, Robert Raynold; Edmund Anstey, and Thomas Samson, the latter are to recover the manor of Brunsover and other lands of Brunsover against the aforesaid Sir Thomas, also to take by fine in the King's Court, several messuages and lands in Brinklowe to the intent that the latter shall make estate thereof to Sir Thomas for his life, without impeachment, and after his death to Elizabeth his wife, and then to their son, John. - 5th May, 1536
