1 - Original bundle labelled "Old Deeds", including land in Barby, Northamptonshire, purchased by Wiggins, late 16th c. to 1784, relating to ten acres of land in the closes of Hillmorton - in 1869 it has become messuage with close adjoining and a quarterne of land in the common fields of Hillmorton. (Smith, Astley, Wiggins, Smyth, Shakespeare, Ward, Smyth). Small set of deeds within these relating to the use of common land at Barby for grazing. (Turner to Wood + Widgens, Smith, Marston, Wiggins). - 1584-1784
